Qualifications to Become a Nanny
All Nanny Candidates must meet the following:
    * Two to three years childcare experience or a
bachelors degree in a child-related area of study.
    * Excellent verifiable employer references.
    * Good five year driving record, proof of auto insurance, dependable transportation to and from work
    * No Criminal Record
    * Verification of Good Health
    * Ability to Give a One Year Commitment
       (for permanent placements only)
    * High School Diploma or GED
    * Be a Non-smoker
    * Proof of Citizenship or visa documentation

            
Background Checks
In addition, all candidates must successfully pass the following:

    * Social Security verification
    * Criminal background check
    * Sex offender check

What is the Process?

* Complete your online application. Call the 
   office at 505-507-7880 to confirm that we  
   received it.

 * Call for an appointment for an interview.

 * Provide Santa Fe Nannies with a copy of your
   driving record and copy of your current 
   CPR/First Aid Certification. You will have 30 
   days to renew your CPR and First Aid.

 * Provide Santa Fe Nannies with a current photo,
   and a short video, about 30 seconds to 1
   minute, describing why you would be a great 
   nanny.

 * We check your references.

 * Once you pass our screening process, your
   profile is sent to families who meet your needs 
   and interests.

 * You interview with interested families

 * You may be asked to come back for a 1-5 day
   working interview.

 * Fill out a four page Working Agreement with
   your family.

 * Confirm the family has paid Santa Fe Nannies 
   the placement fee.
